Terms of service

The agreement between you and OonoBox. Written to be readable; legally binding either way.

These Terms govern your access to and use of OonoBox. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by them.

1. The service

OonoBox provides a unified inbox for messages sent to your business across supported channels (WhatsApp today; Instagram, Messenger and email rolling out in 2026). We connect through the official platform APIs of those providers.

2. Your account

  • You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.
  • You must provide accurate company and contact information.
  • You may not share a single seat between multiple humans.
  • You must comply with the policies of the connected channel providers (e.g. Meta's WhatsApp Business Policy).

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use OonoBox to:

  • Send unsolicited bulk messages outside the templates and rate limits permitted by the channel providers.
  • Impersonate other businesses or individuals.
  • Distribute malware or content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or the recipient's.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile or circumvent the service.

4. Fees and billing

Paid plans are billed per seat, monthly or annually. Annual plans are discounted. Meta's per-conversation charges for WhatsApp are billed by Meta directly, not by us; we never mark them up.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel any time from the workspace settings. Monthly plans end at the close of the current billing cycle. Annual plans run to the end of the paid term unless we agree otherwise in writing. After cancellation your data is available for export for 30 days.

6. Availability

We target 99.9% monthly uptime, measured at the inbox endpoint. Connected channel availability depends on the upstream provider. Scheduled maintenance windows are announced at least 48 hours in advance.

7. Data ownership

You own the data you and your customers put into OonoBox. We act as a data processor on your behalf. See the Privacy Policy for details.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
